GameFi Leader Splinterlands Hits 2 Billion Transactions Milestone

Splinterlands announced today that it has exceeded the significant milestone of 2 billion transactions done on the platform since its inception in 2018. After breaking the 3 billion fight benchmark in August 2022, this is another key evidence of the Web 3.0 collectable trading card battle game’s sustained and quick development.

Splinterlands accounted for 96% of all transactions on Hive, the blockchain on which Splinterlands is constructed, according to DappRadar. Splinterlands now has between 3 and 5 million daily transactions.

In 2022, significant growth in the blockchain gaming market was unusual. Despite the turbulent cryptocurrency market conditions that will persist until 2023, Splinterlands continues to witness massive new user growth. Splinterlands now has over 250,000 active users on a daily basis and over 5 million fights are fought on the platform every day.
