WEMADE to Present Future of Gaming at GDC 2023

WEMADE, the Korean-based global gaming giant, is preparing to showcase its vision of the Future of Gaming at the upcoming 2023 Game Developers Conference (GDC). In his keynote speech titled “The Future of Gaming: Inter-game Play and Beyond”, WEMADE CEO Henry Chang will discuss how innovators, including game developers and studios, are utilizing blockchain technology to build the future of games. They are creating a seamless inter-game economy powered by unrestricted play across all platforms.

Attendees to GDC 2023 can join WEMADE at their booth located at S527 in the South Hall of the GDC Expo. There, they can experience firsthand the theme of “Life is Game: Blockchain Transformation”. WEMADE will be showcasing their WEMIX PLAY system, a comprehensive platform that helps game developers and publishers accelerate the blockchain transformation of their games. It includes Tokenomics, GameFi, Marketplace, and Community services. WEMIX PLAY is a key component of the experience-based, platform-driven, and service-oriented WEMIX mega-ecosystem that continues to expand in 2023.

The experts from WEMADE will share their experiences and insights with attendees during the conference. Wonil Suh, EVP at WEMADE, will be presenting “Lessons Learned after Launching 25+ Web3 Games,” which focuses on sharing the company’s experience, including successful and failed tokenomic designs. Robin Seo, Head of Business Creative Center at WEMADE, will be discussing how games can be transformed into blockchain games in four simple steps using the WEMIX PLAY platform.

In “Fan Token, a Joint Blockchain Economy Built by Creators and Fans,” Myrtle Abigail Sarrosa, actress, cosplayer, host, singer, songwriter, and gamer, will be discussing how creators and fans can use their digital currency to expand the boundaries of community engagement and activities. In “Transformation 101: Launching Your Own Blockchain Game on WEMIX PLAY,” a panel session featuring Wonil Suh, Robin Seo, and Wook Kim, SVP, WEMADE USA, attendees can learn more about the process and potential of launching their own blockchain game through WEMIX PLAY, the world’s largest blockchain gaming platform.

The GDC 2023 will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA, from March 20th to 24th.
