Wildcard and Magic Eden Partner for Genesis WildPass Mint Launch

An exclusive partnership between Wildcard and Magic Eden will launch the Genesis WildPass Mint on April 20th. The mint will comprise 4,444 WildPasses on the Polygon blockchain network, providing access to the Wildcard Universe’s exclusive opportunities. The Genesis WildPass is the key to enter the Wildcard Web3 ecosystem and will be available on Magic Eden’s Launchpad platform.

According to Wildcard’s CEO, Paul Bettner, Magic Eden’s experience in Web3 gaming, combined with their Polygon partnership, makes this collaboration an ideal opportunity for Wildcard and the Wildcard community. The partnership is excited about this new alliance.

The Genesis WildPass will offer lifetime WildList access, holder-only airdrops, priority access to playtesting, partnership programs, early access to ownership opportunities within the Wildcard Universe, and private developer access, including holder-only roundtable discussions and roadmap sneak peeks.

The mint phases will follow the previously announced schedule, with Jot’s List, the phase 1 guaranteed WildList, receiving the first opportunity to mint and ensuring the ability to mint at least one WildPass. The Collabs/Collectors List mint, phase 2, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The public mint, phase 3, will take place after phase 2.

Katy Bettner, Wildcard’s co-founder, stated that their goal has always been to create an engaging and exciting game. They believe that the game will speak for itself. In terms of Web3, they are most excited to use this technology to build a competitive ecosystem with players, creators, owners, collectors, and fans.

Since the announcement of Wildcard’s $46M funding round, led by Paradigm, last June, The Bettners and their team have been building an interactive community, with a growing Discord channel of 35,000 members.
