Solana Foundation Partners with DMCC

The Solana Foundation and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), a well-known free economic zone in the United Arab Emirates, have established a ground-breaking relationship. The UAE’s crypto sector is expected to undergo a transformation as a result of this agreement, which was announced on October 15.

Solana is prepared to provide technical know-how and business development help to members of the DMCC Crypto Centre with its cutting-edge blockchain platform. The availability of webinars and instructional courses on a variety of Web3 subjects further complements this endeavour. Furthermore, Solana will broaden its current grant program inside the DMCC, promoting innovation and development.

The DMCC’s CEO, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, revealed that existing partners of Solana will receive preferential treatment within the DMCC. As he explained, “We will provide complimentary setup and business licensing for Solana ecosystem projects, while our members can access a world-class blockchain platform and dedicated Solana engineering teams, enabling them to reach new heights in their businesses.”

DMCC’s Thriving Ecosystem and UAE’s Economic Free Zones

The ecosystem of the DMCC has a wide range of partners, including well-known companies like the cryptocurrency exchange Bybit, the creator of the digital asset market DWF Labs, the Web3 incubator TDeFi, and the venture financing firm Brinc. In actuality, the DMCC has formally accepted 23,000 enterprises among its thriving community.

The DMCC was established as one of the three original economic free zones in the United Arab Emirates, together with the Abu Dhabi Global Market and Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, and has significantly improved the country’s investment climate. The Ras Al Khaimah Digital Assets Oasis, a new venture presented during Blockchain Life 2023, is also expected to add to the landscape of economic free zones in the United Arab Emirates.
