Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2024 Promises Four Days of Web3 Exploration

The premier event for blockchain and decentralized technologies, Hong Kong Web3 Festival, is scheduled to return in 2024 with even bigger plans and promises. Industry insiders and thought leaders are looking forward to the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2024 after its huge success in 2023.

On November 3, at Hong Kong Fintech Week, Feng Xiao, Chairman of Wanxiang Blockchain and HashKey Group, officially announced the news. From April 6 to April 9, 2024, Hong Kong Web3 Festival will take place, providing four days of immersive experiences and insights into the Web3 world.

A Record-Breaking 2023 Event

The first-ever Web3 Festival, which was co-organized by HashKey Group and Wanxiang Blockchain Labs, created a historic precedent for the Web3 sector in Hong Kong. It was highly praised and drew over 50,000 people with 300 international speakers, 100 exhibitors, and about 200 side activities. The occasion cemented its standing as a turning point in Hong Kong’s Web3 technological development.

Distinguished delegates from a range of public and commercial organizations took part in the Web3 Festival last year. Prominent individuals such as Duncan CHIU, Legislative Council Member (Technology & Innovation Constituency), Paul CHAN Mo-po, the Financial Secretary of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Lillian Cheong Man Lei, Deputy Director of Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau, among others, provided insightful information about Hong Kong’s advantageous policies for Web3 startups and talents.
