Binance Labs Invests in AI-Powered Blockchain Startup Zircuit

Binance Labs, the venture capital arm of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, is advancing its integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with blockchain technology through a significant investment in Zircuit. This new Layer-2 (L2) network, designed with AI-enabled “sequencer level” security, aims to enhance blockchain scalability and security.

Zircuit’s innovative approach combines rollup infrastructure technology with zero-knowledge proofs, facilitating fast, low-cost, and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible transactions. Martin Derka, Zircuit’s co-founder, stated, “Zircuit was born out of cutting-edge scaling and security research. We’re innovating on top of a deep technical foundation, and making Ethereum safer for the next billion users. We’re thrilled to have Binance Labs join us in this journey.”

Zircuit’s “Build to Earn” program has garnered substantial interest, reviewing over 1,100 applications and securing top industry launch partners. With over $3.5 billion in staked assets, the network is gearing up for the launch of its mainnet in the coming months. This substantial backing underscores the market’s confidence in Zircuit’s potential to revolutionize blockchain technology.
