Interpol Issues Red Notice for Richard Heart Over Tax Evasion and Assault Allegations

Richard Schueler, often known as Richard Heart in the cryptocurrency community, is the founder of well-known projects Hex and PulseChain. He has been the subject of a Red Notice from Interpol. Global efforts are underway to find and jail Schueler in anticipation of his possible extradition because he is wanted by Finnish police on serious allegations, including assaulting a minor and widespread tax evasion.

Serious Allegations and Legal Challenges

According to Europol, Schueler stands accused of evading taxes worth hundreds of millions of euros. He is also allegedly involved in a violent assault on a 16-year-old, which resulted in significant facial injuries and bleeding after repeated punches. These charges only add to Schueler’s mounting legal troubles, as he is already facing a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in July 2023.

The SEC lawsuit claims that Schueler illegally conducted unregistered securities offerings, raising over $1 billion from investors through the sale of Hex, PulseChain, and PulseX. The SEC further alleges that Schueler misused at least $12 million from these funds to finance a lavish lifestyle, including purchasing luxury cars, high-end watches, and a notable 555-carat black diamond.

In light of these escalating legal challenges, Schueler has taken to social media to defend himself, arguing that the allegations are part of a smear campaign against him. He has also claimed to have raised $27 million for charity, emphasizing his philanthropic efforts. Despite these defenses, the ongoing legal scrutiny paints a concerning picture of Schueler’s actions.

While the Red Notice issued by Interpol is not an arrest warrant, it marks an important step in the international effort to locate Schueler and facilitate his extradition.
