A New Alliance to Scale KRW Stablecoins Globally

WEMADE’s goal is straightforward: build a secure, regulated, and scalable ecosystem for a Korean won stablecoin. The company’s mainnet, StableNet, will evolve with support from three global leaders—each contributing different layers of technology, compliance, and settlement capabilities.

South Korea’s stablecoin development has surged over the past year as regulatory frameworks form and demand grows. GAKS is designed to accelerate that national push while connecting Korean stablecoin infrastructure with global markets.

Chainalysis and CertiK Strengthen Security and Compliance

Chainalysis will integrate several tools into StableNet, including Hexagate for Web3 threat detection, Sentinel for transaction monitoring, and Alterya for AI-driven scam prevention.

CertiK will handle security audits for StableNet, provide a block explorer, and continue validating nodes for the WEMADE ecosystem. These efforts aim to boost transparency, strengthen on-chain monitoring, and support mainnet integrity.

SentBe, a leading remittance fintech platform with payment services in more than 170 countries, will help build real-world applications for the KRW stablecoin. With a Singapore MPI license, SentBe will support verification processes for WEMADE’s stablecoin-based remittance infrastructure and provide its on- and off-ramp technology.

Roadmap for StableNet

StableNet’s testnet source code was released publicly earlier this year. A full testnet rollout is scheduled for December, with the mainnet launch expected in early 2026 after stability testing.
