Moca Network Introduces MocaProof Beta For Decentralized Digital Identity

Moca Network, the flagship initiative under Animoca Brands, announced the beta release of MocaProof, a digital identity verification platform that uses blockchain to support privacy protection, credential interoperability and user-controlled data. The beta marks a new phase in the project goal of building a decentralized identity infrastructure across multiple chains and platforms.

MocaProof is designed to allow individuals and enterprises to verify identity-related credentials across on-chain and off-chain environments without disclosing sensitive information. The platform uses zero-knowledge proof systems and decentralized storage to maintain privacy while still allowing verification of ownership, qualification or participation.

MocaProof is fully integrated with the network AIR Kit tools and Moca Chain. Through this structure, users can maintain verifiable identity data that remains interoperable and reusable across multiple applications. The platform supports single sign-on, on-chain monetization and privacy-focused data handling to anchor the network digital identity strategy.

Kenneth Shek, project lead of Moca Network, described the ecosystem vision, saying:

The beta includes a credential proof marketplace where users can browse, verify and manage credentials across categories such as influence, finance, loyalty and activity. Partner-issued credentials are validated through zkProofs to ensure data integrity and interoperability.

A character named Mocat serves as a virtual companion within the platform. Mocat visualizes user progress by evolving as more credentials are verified. Traits change according to rarity and growth indicators, and certain stages of Mocat development unlock reward opportunities.

Moca Network plans to integrate a reward framework that allows verified users to claim incentives at the official launch. Rewards include MOCA Coin (MOCA), partner token airdrops, AIR SP loyalty points for AIR Shop and other digital rewards.

The beta is currently available on the Moca Chain Testnet and is expected to transition to mainnet during 2026. To commemorate the launch, Moca Network will run a campaign featuring NFT-based credentials and an NFT competition with a reward pool equivalent to 50,000 USD.
