Joe Biden is back ahead of Kamala Harris, according to Polymarket, as an outright favorite to scoop up the Democratic nomination.
Biden is now at 71%, while Harris is at 15%, leaving smaller chances for Michelle Obama (5%) and Gavin Newsom (2%).
The odds come after Biden called in on MSNBC for an exclusive late Monday night, defending his campaign and health amidst calls to drop out. He said, “In terms of my neurological capacity, I had a physical, a neurological physical as well…it’s released. I released all my records. All of them.”
Speaking of dropping out, “Biden drops out of presidential race?” currently has this happening at 38% (versus 62% 5 days ago), essentially a little below a coin flip, so quite significant still.

While President Biden is the likely Democratic nominee as per Polymarket today, the win for the US presidential elections is with Donald Trump, favored at 63% versus a 20% chance for Biden.
Expected VP nominees for both parties are Kamala Harris (D) at a 73% chance and Doug Burgum (R) with 31%, representing the uncertainty still in the Republican camp as to who will side with Donald Trump on the ballot at the end of this year.
