Binance Thailand Crypto Exchange Starts Trading Today

Binance Thailand, a joint venture between Binance and Gulf Innova, a Gulf Energy Development subsidiary, has officially started trading operations today. The new crypto exchange, led by CEO Nirun Fuwattananukul, aims to revolutionize the Thai digital asset market. Fuwattananukul expressed gratitude for the launch, noting the extensive planning and regulatory cooperation involved over the past year.

The platform, known as Binance TH, not only facilitates digital asset exchanges with Thai baht trading pairs but also boasts integration with local Thai banks. Additionally, it collaborates with Binance Kazakhstan for brokerage services, all under the watchful eye of Thailand’s SEC. This integration ensures compliance and adherence to financial regulations.

Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, emphasized the commitment to security, transparency, and service quality with the full operation of Binance TH. He highlighted the transformative potential of blockchain technology and digital assets in fostering financial inclusion. Teng views the launch as a strategic advancement, positioning Thailand as an emerging influencer in the global digital finance arena.

In May of lst year, the exchange obtained a license from Thailand’s Ministry of Finance. This authorization allows it to operate as a regulated crypto exchange and broker, marking a significant milestone in the country’s cryptocurrency landscape.
