With almost $18 billion of Bitcoin (BTC) held in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), inflows into exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have continued to soar. Tuesday witnessed $216.4 million in inflows into spot BTC ETFs, according to data from Farside Investors. This is the third day in a row that inflows have been positive. As of right now, the total inflows are $15.2 billion.
Remarkably, on July 9, the IBIT ETF alone attracted inflows of $121 million, increasing its market capitalization to $18.04 billion. Notably, on May 1, there were just $36.9 million in net outflows from BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF in a single day.
Comparison with Other Bitcoin Trusts
In contrast, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) experienced $37.5 million in net outflows. Despite starting the week on a bullish note with $25.1 million in inflows on July 8, GBTC has seen over $18.6 billion in net outflows since its inception in the U.S. market. Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) also faced downward momentum, recording $4.7 million in outflows.
Meanwhile, other prominent Bitcoin ETFs contributed positively. Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB), and VanEck Bitcoin Trust (HODL) recorded net inflows of $91 million, $43.3 million, and $3.3 million, respectively.
Although Tuesday’s inflows were smaller than Monday’s $295 million, they still helped maintain the bullish sentiment within the crypto ecosystem. The continued interest and investment in Bitcoin ETFs underscore the growing acceptance and mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency investments.

The positive inflow trends highlight the confidence investors have in the long-term potential of Bitcoin. As more institutional players like BlackRock, Fidelity, and ARK continue to engage with the cryptocurrency market, the overall landscape is poised for further growth and stability.
BlackRock’s significant holdings and the continued inflows into various Bitcoin ETFs reflect a robust market interest, reinforcing Bitcoin’s position as a key asset in the investment portfolios of both individual and institutional investors.
