Bybit Invests $1M in EthicHub to Support Smallholder Coffee Farmers

According to trading volume, Bybit, the second-biggest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced investing $1 million in EthicHub. The Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA) is facilitating this finance, which aims to increase smallholder coffee farmers’ access to capital. EthicHub, a winner at the BGA Web3 Oscar, uses blockchain technology to enable fair loans and market access for farmers in underdeveloped nations.

Driving Financial Inclusion Through Blockchain

The platform offered by EthicHub combines direct market links, sustainable finance, and ethical loans. Farmers will have access to fair credit through a dedicated “Bybit Pool” with Bybit’s investment, lowering their dependency on high-interest loans. Bybit’s objective of leveraging blockchain for practical impact is supported by this project, which also guarantees better pricing and increases efficiency.

The investment agreement includes:

• Exclusive Fund Management – Bybit’s contribution remains within EthicHub’s ecosystem for transparency.
• Sustainable Social Impact – Direct financial support fosters economic growth in rural farming communities.
• Financial Returns – Bybit receives an 8% annual return over a 15-month period.
• Transparent Reporting – LendingDev, EthicHub’s operator, provides regular performance updates.
