After being targeted over his latest NFT series by those opposing him, Trump has smashed his critics by selling all NFTs and raising the prices per collectible in resale. An estimated $5 million was raised with the auction.
The day after its first release, ex-President Donald Trump’s 45,000 pieces large non-fungible token (NFT) digital trading card collection was sold out early on Friday leading to heavy trading over the weekend.
The trade volume for the collection at the time of writing was 900 ETH, or around $1.08 million, according to statistics from OpenSea. Its floor price, which is more than quadruple the original price of $99, is around 0.19 ETH, or roughly $230.
Some tokens are going for far more money than others. At the time of writing, the one-of-ones, the rarest of the NFTs, which make up around 1,000 or 2.4% of the 45,000 unit collection, are going for up to 6 ETH each. A unique trading card portraying the 45th president carrying a torch while standing in front of the Statue of Liberty is presently advertised for 20 ETH.
