Elon Musk Tweets SpaceX, Dogecoin Jumps

Tesla CEO and ‘Dogefather’ Elon Musk once again helped his beloved cryptocurrency, dogecoin (DOGE) gain some momentum.

While many in the community wondered lately if the Dogefather still “had it”, the billionaire and soon-to-be Twitter owner, send a tweet that just as for Tesla merchandise, SpaceX goodies can soon be purchased with dogecoin.

Following his tweet, DOGE jumped to as much as 10% to $0.08535 according to CoinMarketCap. It is currently moving hands at $0.08134.

Nevertheless, Musk’s announcement did not have the same effect when he announced Tesla’s merch to be exchanged for Dogecoin last year, when prices spiked more than 30%.
