Web3 gaming and entertainment giant, Orange Comet, has unveiled a collaboration with renowned Hollywood actor and recipient of both Golden Globe and Emmy awards, William Shatner, to create a mesmerizing digital collection called Eternal Links. Channeling Shatner’s adventurous spirit, his foray into the metaverse embodies the concept of universal interconnectivity. Eternal Links will make its debut at Consensus 2023, where Shatner and Orange Comet’s CEO and Co-founder, Dave Broome, will take center stage on April 27.

An early adopter of NFTs and web3, Shatner has been involved with blockchain since 2018. This exclusive collection showcases his unquenchable desire for exploration. At 92 years old, Shatner’s Eternal Links will focus on scientific phenomena and earthly elements, taking users on a thought-provoking and inspirational voyage through the cosmos, while emphasizing that new adventures can begin at any stage of life.

Eternal Links will consist of 3,500 unique 1:1 digital collectibles, divided into two distinctive series: “William Shatner Space Adventurer” and “William Shatner Ageless Navigator.”

The Space Adventurer collection, containing 2,500 distinct NFTs, will showcase a highly detailed 3D digital avatar of Shatner, delving into quantum physics, magnetic frequencies, and mathematical concepts, as well as exploring earthly elements like sonic vibrations, volcanic eruptions, and the subtle language of trees. Each NFT will be accompanied by a physical action figure of Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk, his iconic Star Trek character, seated in the command chair. These action figures, originating from Shatner’s personal collection, will be numbered, hand-signed, and inscribed with one of five different phrases in Shatner’s handwriting, referencing his Star Trek legacy.

The Ageless Navigator series, comprising 1,000 unique NFTs, will exhibit intricately detailed 2D art that investigates the marvels of the cosmos and beyond, offering exclusive real-life opportunities for select holders. Each 1:1 piece features stunning illustrations of futuristic technology and celestial wonders, inviting collectors on an infinite journey of exploration and discovery.
