Remixpoint, a Japanese energy and automotive company, has added $3.2 million worth of Bitcoin to its cryptocurrency holdings. This calculated action shows Remixpoint’s continuous efforts to diversify its assets and is consistent with the recent spike in the price of Bitcoin.
The purchase of 500 million yen ($3.2 million) worth of Bitcoin was announced by Remixpoint, increasing its total holdings to 250.13 BTC. At today’s market prices, these assets are currently worth about 3.67 billion yen ($24.16 million). The company cites the recent surge in Bitcoin’s price and market optimism in the wake of Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election as reasons for its decision.
The firm aims to finalize this Bitcoin acquisition by the year’s end, depending on market conditions. Remixpoint began investing in cryptocurrency in late September as a response to Japan’s weakening yen, and it now holds a diversified portfolio worth over 3.8 billion yen across six cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Solana, and Ethereum.
Crypto Portfolio Highlights
In addition to Bitcoin, Remixpoint holds 9,674.37 SOL (worth 360 million yen or $2.36 million) and 227.87 ETH (valued at 110 million yen or $723,279). Other investments include Avalanche (AVAX), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Ripple (XRP). The company’s crypto assets currently yield unrealized gains of over 810 million yen ($5.3 million), as reported by Coinpost.
Bitcoin’s value has reached new heights, hitting $99,645 on November 22, just shy of the $100,000 milestone. At present, Bitcoin trades at $93,092, with a market cap of $1.84 trillion.

Initially concentrating on software, Remixpoint was founded in 2004 and went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2006. But later on, the company switched to trading cars and power, proving its flexibility in changing markets.
The business uses cryptocurrencies to manage economic uncertainty, just like Metaplanet and other Japanese companies. Notably, Metaplanet has 1,142 Bitcoin, which is worth $106.31 million.
Remixpoint is committed to transparency in this expanding industry and intends to reveal any substantial financial impact from its most recent Bitcoin investment.
