Salesforce Expands Services to Include NFT Loyalty Programs

Salesforce, the customer relationship management (CRM) platform, has announced the expansion of its services to include non-fungible token (NFT) loyalty program management. The suite of Salesforce Web3 products will help businesses build, manage, and integrate NFTs into their operations. Web3 Connect, an API integration that provides insight into the customer experience across Web2 and Web3, will be included in the new platform.
In addition, Salesforce will release NFT Management, allowing companies to create and monitor their NFT collections and blockchain data through Salesforce’s interface.
According to Adam Caplan, Salesforce’s senior vice president of emerging technology, the company is excited to embrace Web3’s capabilities in building communities and enhancing digital ownership. Salesforce tested Web3 technologies last year, with 275,000 successful transactions executed during the beta phase. Companies like Crown Royal, Mattel, and Scotch and Soda have tested Salesforce’s technology with their own Web3 technologies.
Sven Gerjets, executive vice president, and chief technology officer at Mattel, said that Salesforce Web3 would help connect them with customers and bring their Web2 and Web3 systems together. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff had teased plans to integrate blockchain technologies in 2018 and later revealed plans to integrate its native blockchain into its CRM.
Recently, Salesforce collaborated with Time magazine and Mastercard to release an NFT collection for Miami in partnership with its mayor, Francis Suarez.
