Trust Wallet, the premier supplier of self-custodial and multi-chain wallets, has announced the release of a fresh new browser extension wallet. It is accessible for usage on browsers including Chrome, Brave, Safari and Opera, and supports all EVM chains as well as Solana.
Trust Wallet’s mobile wallet, which has 60 million downloads and over 10 million monthly active users worldwide, is complemented by the browser extension. Trust Wallet’s desktop and mobile versions both provide improved web3 accessibility and a more seamless wallet experience.
What Tokens Does Trust Wallet Support?
The Trust Wallet browser plugin let users to safely manage and store over 8 million tokens across all EVM chains and Solana. This includes Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Avalanche, as well as the option to create custom EVM chains. More non-EVMs will be added in the coming months and will be notified as they become available.
Furthermore, Trust Wallet Extension enhances the multi-chain user experience of the extension wallet. The ability for networks to auto-detect enables for a more smooth dApp experience without the need to manually add networks. 8 million tokens are available right now, eliminating the need to manually add tokens and thereby improving asset trackability. With all of these advantages combined, the browser extension delivers an improved dApp experience for users to discover things outside centralized exchanges (CEXs), such as Web3 games, metaverse, DeFi, tokens not found on CEXs, and more.
Will Multi-Wallet Support Be Included in Trust Wallet Browser Extension?
Multi-wallet support, NFT support, fiat on ramp providers, and non-EVM blockchain connectors, which are currently available on Trust Wallet’s mobile app, will be introduced to the browser extension to improve parity between the desktop and mobile versions. However, some capabilities, such as hardware wallet support, will be available first on the extension.
Trust Wallet CEO, Eowyn Chen, said:
“Our users’ number 1 request is the Browser extension and they want one with the same good user experience as the Trust Wallet mobile app and the multi-chain coverage. We build for users to empower them whichever device they prefer, to continue to access the exciting dApps on different chains. This is our initial step, and we will listen to users and developers’ feedback to improve.”
