UK Parliamentary Committee Advocates for NFT Copyright Protections

The British government has been urged to work with non-fungible token (NFT) exchanges to resolve copyright infringement concerns by a group made up of representatives from major UK political parties. Inquiry Into NFTs Reveals Issues

The committee began an investigation into the NFT industry back in November, and the results emphasize the need of taking action. The research addresses a number of important issues, one of which being the distribution of fan tokens by several UK football teams. Members who own these tokens have access to exclusive benefits including voting on club decisions, merchandising, and one-of-a-kind events.
