{"id":12918,"date":"2022-06-23T20:27:48","date_gmt":"2022-06-23T20:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crowdfundjunction.com\/blog\/bitcoins-value-can-be-looked-at-in-different-ways-says-ftx-us-president\/"},"modified":"2022-06-23T20:27:48","modified_gmt":"2022-06-23T20:27:48","slug":"bitcoins-value-can-be-looked-at-in-different-ways-says-ftx-us-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crowdfundjunction.com\/blog\/bitcoins-value-can-be-looked-at-in-different-ways-says-ftx-us-president\/","title":{"rendered":"Bitcoin&#8217;s value can be looked at in different ways, says FTX US President"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>(Originally posted on : CoinJournal: Latest Bitcoin, Ethereum &amp; Crypto News )<\/b><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">FTX U.S. President Brett Harrison\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/video\/2022\/06\/23\/crypto-is-still-drawing-in-an-enormous-amount-of-venture-capital-says-ftxs-brett-harrison.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><u>told<\/u><\/a> CNBC\u2019s \u2018Squawk Box\u2019 on Thursday that the crypto industry is still seeing huge venture capital investments despite the tough times occasioned by the bear market.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to the FTX US boss, while the industry continues to face the blunt force of the crypto winter, markets will eventually recover.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He notes more capital, as projects take the downturn as an opportunity to build, bringing in new talent and products, a bounce out of the hole could see more people adopt crypto and related services. \u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Different methods of valuing Bitcoin<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Talking specifically about Bitcoin, the world\u2019s leading cryptocurrency, Harrison says there are different ways of looking at BTC\u2019s value. He notes that different people look at this aspect differently.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201c<em>It\u2019s difficult<\/em>,\u201d he told CNBC as he discussed some of the different methods of looking at Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cT<em>here are a lot of different proposed methods. Some of it has to do with the future flow of all the Bitcoin that could be mined in the system and of course the cost of mining that Bitcoin<\/em>,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Another way of looking at it is what some people see as \u201c<em>a store of value, something that is independent of any particular government\u2019s control.
