{"id":13283,"date":"2022-07-19T04:58:56","date_gmt":"2022-07-19T04:58:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crowdfundjunction.com\/blog\/coinbase-gets-green-light-to-offer-crypto-services-in-italy\/"},"modified":"2022-07-19T04:58:56","modified_gmt":"2022-07-19T04:58:56","slug":"coinbase-gets-green-light-to-offer-crypto-services-in-italy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crowdfundjunction.com\/blog\/coinbase-gets-green-light-to-offer-crypto-services-in-italy\/","title":{"rendered":"Coinbase Gets Green Light to Offer Crypto Services in Italy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>(Originally posted on : Crypto News &#8211; iGaming.org )<\/b><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Nasdaq-listed cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase (COIN) announced on Monday that it received regulatory approval to provide crypto services in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Nana Murugesan, vice president of International and Business Development at the exchange, <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.coinbase.com\/coinbase-secures-crypto-asset-service-provider-approval-in-italy-6cc78516bf66\">detailed<\/a> in a blog post:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cToday, we\u2019re able to announce a key milestone \u2026 securing approval from Italian regulators to provide ongoing crypto services to its residents.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Coinbase VP elaborated:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe new requirement implemented by the Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM), mandated that all companies offering crypto trading, custody or other services, meet set criteria.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Regulated European Markets<\/h2>\n<p>Furthermore, Murugesan detailed, \u201cCoinbase serves customers across almost 40 European countries through dedicated hubs in Ireland, the U.K., and Germany,\u201d while we are \u201ccommitted to bringing the power of our full product suite to customers across Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To secure market share in Europe, regulatory approval in each of the European nations is required.
