{"id":14034,"date":"2022-09-29T03:06:18","date_gmt":"2022-09-29T03:06:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crowdfundjunction.com\/blog\/el-salvador-host-to-adopting-bitcoin-conference-in-november\/"},"modified":"2022-09-29T03:06:18","modified_gmt":"2022-09-29T03:06:18","slug":"el-salvador-host-to-adopting-bitcoin-conference-in-november","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crowdfundjunction.com\/blog\/el-salvador-host-to-adopting-bitcoin-conference-in-november\/","title":{"rendered":"El Salvador Host to \u2018Adopting Bitcoin\u2019 Conference in November"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>(Originally posted on : Crypto News &#8211; iGaming.org )<\/b><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/crypto\/september-7-bitcoinday-in-el-salvador\/\">El Salvador<\/a>, the first sovereign country to make Bitcoin legal tender on September 7 2021, will be hosting \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AdoptingBTC\">Adopting Bitcoin<\/a>\u2019, a conference to promote Bitcoin adoption in the context of creating a freer and fairer financial system.<\/p>\n<p>Held in San Salvador and Bitcoin Beach from November 15-17, the conference brings together the <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/cryptocurrencies\/section\/what-is-a-bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> ecosystem for networking, learning, collaboration and creation.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be organized by the banking platform  that operates the Bitcoin Beach Wallet in El Salvador, Galoy Inc.<\/p>\n<h2>Three Days of Adopting Bitcoin<\/h2>\n<p>Furthermore the three-day long event is supported by digital token trading platform Bitfinex who serves as the main sponsor of the event. Bitfinex is working closely with the government of El Salvador to provide a financial technology platform for the issuance and trading of the proposed Volcano token.<\/p>\n<p>The first two days of the event will take place at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center in San Salvador where more than 110 speakers from over 30 different countries will share the latest developments in various disciplines of Bitcoin, including technology and economics.<\/p>\n<p>Day three of the event will take attendees on a field trip to Bitcoin Beach in El Zonte, the birthplace of Bitcoin adoption in the country.<\/p>\n<p>CEO of Galoy, Nicolas Burtey, commented:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cNobody expected a sovereign nation to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender in 2021.
