On Dec. 4, 2022, the Twitter account and citizen journalist called Autism Capital shared two pictures of a woman that closely resembles the Alameda Research CEO, Caroline Ellison. The pictures were taken at a coffee and sandwich shop in Manhattan at 8:15 a.m. (ET).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Citizen Journalist Reportedly Spots Alameda\u2019s Caroline Ellison in New York<\/h2>\n

According to a tweet published by the Twitter account dubbed Autism Capital<\/a>, Alameda Research\u2019s top executive may have been spotted in New York. Autism Capital wrote<\/a>: \u201cPLEASE CONFIRM: A user claims that they spotted Caroline Ellison at Ground Support Coffee on West Broad in SoHo Manhattan at 8:15 AM. This would mean she is not in Hong Kong and is in NY not in custody.\u201d<\/p>\n

Caroline Ellison<\/a> has been the topic of many conversations after the former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) told the press<\/a> that he \u201cwasn\u2019t running Alameda,\u201d and that he \u201cdidn\u2019t know the size of their position.\u201d This has sparked speculation that SBF threw Ellison \u201cunder the bus,\u201d and the FTX co-founder was accused of doing so<\/a> during a Twitter Spaces conversation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Additionally, on Nov. 26, reports<\/a> littered social media that claimed Ellison left Hong Kong and fled to Dubai, but reports were unconfirmed. Autism Capital also got confirmation of the Ellison sighting from a person behind the counter at the coffee and sandwich shop in Manhattan. \u201cCONFIRMED: The barista behind the counter has confirmed it was Caroline,\u201d Autism Capital tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ellison\u2019s Alleged Location Near the New York Attorney\u2019s Office, FBI \u2014 Picture Appears to Show \u2018Gopher\u2019 the Exchange Executive\u2019s Golden Doodle Puppy<\/h2>\n

The citizen journalist also shared pictures of messages sent that also said a source was \u201c99%\u201d sure \u201cit\u2019s her.\u201d The message also says there\u2019s an \u201cAlameda person\u201d with her. In addition to the confirmations from the barista behind the counter, there\u2019s also the sighting<\/a> of a Golden Doodle puppy pictured at the bottom of the ostensible Ellison\u2019s feet. FTX and Alameda executives shared a Golden Doodle pup called \u201cGopher.\u201d SBF recently tweeted<\/a> about Gopher before FTX collapsed.<\/p>\n

The dog pictured in the alleged photo of Ellison looks an awful lot like Gopher<\/a>, including a small white stripe on the dog\u2019s belly. The Twitter post from Autism Capital got a lot of views and some of the thread\u2019s visitors commented that maybe Ellison was singing to the police.<\/p>\n

People also shared street maps<\/a> showing that the coffee and sandwich shop was really close to the New York Attorney\u2019s Office and the FBI. \u201cAfter a close analysis, she\u2019s snitching on Sam,\u201d one person wrote<\/a>. Since FTX collapsed, Ellison has been super silent about the situation, while SBF has been doing a media tour<\/a> and speaking candidly<\/a>.<\/p>\n
