Instead of relying on a trustworthy central server, all users run a client.<\/p>\n<p>Dorsey <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/crypto\/jack-dorsey-steps-down-as-twitter-ceo\/\">left Twitter as CEO in November of 2021<\/a> to fully focus on Bitcoin and it use cases. He remained on as head of Block nevertheless, <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/crypto\/square-rebranded-block-to-better-align-with-core-ambitions\/\">formerly known as Square<\/a>. Dorsey is among many in the world that believe the <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/crypto\/jack-dorsey-confirms-that-bitcoin-will-replace-the-us-dollar\/\">US dollar is going to be replaced by Bitcoin<\/a> in due time.
