Bankman-Fried was released on a personal recognizance bail following his initial appearance last week, and he traveled back to his parents\u2019 home in California immediately after.<\/p>\n<p>During the former FTX executive\u2019s arraignment in Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon, U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan of the Southern District of New York set a tentative trial date for the anticipated weeks-long procedure, expected to take place in October<\/p>\n<p>For the outset of the hearing, Bankman-Fried, who is accused of eight different offenses, including wire fraud and campaign finance violations, entered a <strong>not guilty plea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to recent reports\u00a0his not guilty plea today was <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/crypto\/disgraced-former-ftx-ceo-sbf-faces-115-years-if-convicted\/\">expected<\/a>. The prosecution expected to finish the majority of its discovery during the next three weeks. She stated that the government will soon have access to materials that it currently has.
