As the firm <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/santimentfeed\/status\/1616579880321429504\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">highlights<\/a> in the chart below, whale addresses with 1,000 to 10,000 BTC have in the past two weeks accumulated over 64,638 bitcoins worth more than $1.46 billion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udc33 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bitcoin<\/a> has now surpassed $22.7k for the first time since August 18, 2022. The price rise has come as the large whale tier group of addresses holding 1,000 to 10,000 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BTC&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BTC<\/a> has collectively accumulated 64,638 ($1.46 billion) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BTC&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BTC<\/a> in the past 15 days. \ud83d\udc4d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/H6jCsZDgUR\">https:\/\/t.co\/H6jCsZDgUR<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/RaN2I48ybg\">pic.twitter.com\/RaN2I48ybg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Santiment (@santimentfeed) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/santimentfeed\/status\/1616579880321429504?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 20, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">Over $376 million in shorts liquidated<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As Bitcoin raced to highs near $23,350, l<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinglass.com\/LiquidationData\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">iquidation data<\/a> showed that in the past 24 hours, about 80,497 traders had been liquidated.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to Coinglass, the largest short liquidation was on Bitmex where an order worth $4.53million was rekt. The total liquidations as of 06:10 am ET on 21 January were $376.61 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Notably, total liquidations are not at the levels seen when BTC\/USD broke above $20,000 last week towards erasing all post-FTX losses.
