The famous author of the best-selling book Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki, says he likes bitcoin, calling the cryptocurrency \u201cpeople\u2019s money.\u201d While admitting that he does not know much about bitcoin, he said: \u201cI\u2019m just glad I bought it at six.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Robert Kiyosaki Says Bitcoin Is \u2018People\u2019s Money\u2019<\/h2>\n

The author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki, talked about bitcoin while discussing \u201cWhy cash is trash in 2023\u201d during his Rich Dad Radio Show podcast published on Wednesday. Rich Dad Poor Dad is a 1997 book co-authored by Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. It has been on the New York Times Best Seller List for over six years. More than 32 million copies of the book have been sold in over 51 languages across more than 109 countries.<\/p>\n

During the podcast, Kiyosaki called gold, silver, and bitcoin \u201cthe hottest subject on the market today,\u201d noting that real estate is no longer a hot topic. Emphasizing that the U.S. dollar is \u201cfake money<\/a>,\u201d the famous author said:<\/p>\n

I like Bitcoin. I call it people\u2019s money. Now I don\u2019t know much about Bitcoin, but I\u2019m just glad I bought it at six. That\u2019s all I know right now.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Kiyosaki previously said he bought bitcoin at $9K. \u201cI bought bitcoin at $9,000 and I thought I was being fleeced but the reason I bought it at $9,000 was because Covid shut down the world economy,\u201d he told Kitco News in April 2021. \u201cI think it\u2019s going to $1.2 million in five more years,\u201d he predicted at the time.<\/p>\n

The Rich Dad Poor Dad author recently said that he is buying more<\/a> BTC<\/a>. Last year, he explained why<\/a> he invests in bitcoin, noting that he\u2019s an investor, not a trader, so he gets excited<\/a> when the price of bitcoin hits a new low.<\/p>\n

Kiyosaki has been recommending bitcoin alongside gold and silver for quite some time. Last week, he discussed why the three investments are rising higher<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He expects bitcoin investors to get richer<\/a> when the Federal Reserve pivots and prints trillions of dollars. In September last year, he urged investors to get into crypto now<\/a> before the biggest economic crash in world history happens. However, he also warned that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will crush most cryptocurrencies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the renowned author said that \u201cwe are in global recession<\/a>,\u201d warning of soaring bankruptcies, unemployment, and homelessness.<\/p>\n
