Data from CoinGecko shows the <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/polygon\/\">Polygon price<\/a> traded at $1.28 before the rally that came as the rest of the crypto market ripped higher \u2013 led by Bitcoin\u2019s jump to above $25,000.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Today\u2019s rally for MATIC adds to a bullish run over the past two days, with the token\u2019s value climbing from lows of $1.14 on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">Why could MATIC price go higher?<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Polygon price has benefitted from the overall sentiment across the crypto market, which is reflected in the Bitcoin Fear &amp; Greed Index moving from neutral to greed.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">However, the upside momentum has also been down to major developments on the Ethereum scaling protocol. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of the big <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/0xPolygon\/status\/1625871219261308928\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">announcements<\/a> is around Square Enix, a leading video game developer from Japan known for titles such as Final Fantasy &amp; Kingdom Hearts. The company is set to launch its Web3 game on the Polygon blockchain. The Plague of Frogs is also coming to Polygon, adding to other partnerships with the National Geographic.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Also key is the upcoming launch of Polygon zkEVM on 27 March 2023, which as CoinJournal recently <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/polygon-announces-zkevm-mainnet-beta-will-go-live-next-month\/\">reported<\/a>, will bring frictionless scaling to Ethereum. As <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OrionDepp\/status\/1626200258769301506\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">noted<\/a> by Orion Depp, Managing Partner at Master Ventures Institutional Investment Management, the zkEVM beta mainnet launch will \u201crevolutionize blockchain transactions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Can these developments help MATIC price higher?
