On March 3, 2023, Uniswap Labs, the firm behind the decentralized exchange Uniswap, announced the launch of a limited early-release application through Apple\u2019s Testflight program. The company stated that the limited release was due to Apple not granting approval for the application launch, and the team does not know why.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Uniswap Labs Launches Limited Early-Release Mobile App via Apple\u2019s Testflight Platform<\/h2>\n

Uniswap Labs<\/a> launched a mobile application<\/a> for Uniswap via Apple\u2019s Testflight platform. The self-custodial, open-source mobile application is available for a limited release. However, the company noted that Apple has not given the application approval to launch. \u201cSo why a limited early release from a team committed to access for anyone? Simply put, Apple won\u2019t green-light our launch, [and] we don\u2019t know why,\u201d the company tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The creator of one of the largest decentralized exchanges by volume stated that the firm submitted the mobile application to Apple months ago. \u201cEven though we are 100% compliant with their specifications, we\u2019re still stuck in limbo,\u201d Uniswap said. \u201cSo if we have to wait for Apple, we thought it\u2019d be more fun if we waited together,\u201d the decentralized finance (defi) firm added<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The company decided to open its internal Testflight application to 10,000 users, the maximum approved by Apple. Uniswap<\/a> stated that it would begin sharing access codes \u201cacross multiple channels and time zones to reach as many parts of our community as possible\u201d to get started. Uniswap\u2019s limited early-release mobile application for iOS Testflight follows the creation of the Uniswap Bridge Assessment Committee, revealed<\/a> on March 2nd.<\/p>\n

Statistics<\/a> recorded for the last 24 hours as of March 4 indicate that there has been $2.81 billion in trades, with Uniswap version 3 (v3) leading the pack with $1.21 billion in trade volume. Uniswap\u2019s Arbitrum One decentralized exchange (dex) commands the second-largest volume with $195.98 million. Uniswap v3 offers 947 coins across 1,725 pairs, and the dex has been visited 3,388,922 times this month.<\/p>\n
