Pixelcraft Studios, the developers of the popular metaverse game Aavegotchi, announced on Monday that they have raised $30 million through a multiyear token sale. The funding round is considered to be one of the largest in the Web3 gaming sector this year, and it was achieved without any venture capital or investor participation. In this regard, Pixelcraft Studios will receive $7.5 million, which accounts for 25% of the treasury, while the remaining $22.5 million will be given to the protocol\u2019s decentralized autonomous organized (DAO) treasury.\n<\/p>\n

Aavegotchi is a decentralized Web3 ecosystem that employs non-fungible tokens (NFT) and decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions. Recently, the community voted to expand the in-game wearable offerings for Aavegotchis, which are digital pets that players can utilize within the game\u2019s ecosystem.<\/p>\n
