Spielworks, a blockchain startup that focuses on gaming and decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions, has successfully concluded its 8th season of \u201cDungeon Master,\u201d its signature game. This season, which attracted 37,000 new players and generated more than 200,000 NFTs, concludes just before the beta launch of \u201cDungeon Worlds<\/a>,\u201d a new and massive game expansion scheduled to launch in Q3 2023.<\/p>\n

Through \u201cWombat Dungeon Master,\u201d Spielworks demonstrated the power of engaging with creators and brands via NFTs. The game\u2019s 8th season was one of its most successful, with 2,000 NFTs minted, 37,000 new users, and the distribution of additional rewards in Spielwork\u2019s $WOMBAT token. Now, with the launch of \u201cDungeon Worlds,\u201d Spielworks is expanding the Wombat ecosystem by introducing user-owned NFT staking experiences. Ahead of the beta launch, Spielworks recently conducted land and Wombat character drops in the form of NFTs on the WAX and Polygon blockchains. The \u201cDungeon Worlds\u201d map includes 10,000 land tiles on each blockchain, featuring different geographic features and materials that Wombat characters can discover. Equipment, in the form of NFTs, can be used by players to improve their dungeons and characters and achieve interoperability across all dungeons, regardless of their chain.<\/p>\n
