The regulator should have the appeal in place by August 18, while Ripple will have until September 1 to file its opposition. The timeline also includes September 8 as the deadline for SEC to file a reply.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The judge\u2019s decision to grant SEC\u2019s request came a day after Ripple opposed the regulator\u2019s intended interlocutory appeal.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ripple Labs chief legal officer Stuart Alderoty <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/s_alderoty\/status\/1691917112019960288\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">noted<\/a> that there is \u201cno extraordinary circumstance here that would justify departing from the rule requiring all issues as to all parties to be resolved before an appeal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">John E. Deaton of Crypto Law. US says it could take 3-6 months for Judge Torres to deliver a ruling on the filing.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">As I said last week, she was going to grant the SEC the right to file a formal motion for an interlocutory appeal.
