According to Mo Shaikh \u2013 the Chief Executive of Aptos Labs told TechCrunch today:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>In order to grow the web3 ecosystem, everyday activities like financial transactions have to be easier. Consumer adoption does not happen without it. Full stop.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Petra has already integrated into PancakeSwap, LayerZero, Pyth and about 160 other decentralised applications to date. Aptos had previously partnered with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2023\/09\/11\/decentralized-exchange-sushi-expands-to-aptos-blockchain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sushi<\/a> as well to secure access for users to non-EVM chains.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/exchanges\/coinbase\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coinbase Global Inc<\/a> ended roughly 4.0% down on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<h2>Aptos has recently teamed up with Microsoft as well<\/h2>\n<p>Petra adding Coinbase Pay to its applications signals a multichain future, as per Will Robinson \u2013 the Vice President of Engineering at Coinbase.<\/p>\n<p>The crypto market news arrives only days after the crypto exchange announced plans of integrating the Lightning Network that aims at setting up Bitcoin as a faster and cheaper mode of global payments (<a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/coinbase-to-integrate-lightning-network\/\">find out more<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>In August, Aptos Labs also teamed with <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/08\/09\/microsoft-aptos-blockchain-ai-web3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft<\/a> on artificial intelligence and web3 integration.
