(ECC) and Filecoin Foundation <a href=\"https:\/\/brave.com\/web3-privacy\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> a new partnership during Messari Mainnet on Friday, September 22.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Brave team, Zcash (ZEC) developer group and the <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/tag\/filecoin\/\">Filecoin (FIL)<\/a> non-profit said they will be collaborating in an effort that should see new privacy features come to Web3 via the Brave browser. Zcash is one of the top <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/tag\/privacy-coins\/\">privacy coins<\/a> in the crypto space.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to the companies, the innovative privacy-focused features will also be available via Brave\u2019s integrated Web3 wallet.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">New privacy features for Brave browser<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Brave offers a privacy-oriented browser that <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/browser-brave-protects-your-privacy-and-pays-you-in-bitcoin\/\">rewards users<\/a> with Basic Attention Token (BAT) for accepting privacy-respecting ads. Users have to opt into the feature. With the partnership, the privacy functionality is to be extended to all transactions<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In this case, ECC, which recently highlighted plans to make <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/tag\/zcash\/\">Zcash<\/a> more decentralised and secure, will work with Brave to integrate shielded transactions with the Brave browser\u2019s built-in crypto wallet. This will allow users to benefit from private transactions when they store, send, and receive ZEC and other cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>\u201cI\u2019m excited about integrating Zcash into the Brave web browser because privacy should be normal. The Brave browser is a tool that tens of millions of people are using for everyday communication, web browsing, shopping, and other activities. This gives them access to money that respects their security and consent. I\u2019m thrilled for this launch \u2014 and what\u2019s to come \u2014 as a result of this partnership with Brave and Filecoin Foundation,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Zooko Wilcox, CEO, Electric Coin Co., said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Other than private crypto transactions, Brave, ECC and Filecoin Foundation are working on a decentralised messaging and media transmission feature.
