On one side, we have the current Finance Minister, Sergio Massa, and on the other, the self-proclaimed anarcho-capitalist, Javier Milei. The country\u2019s presidential election, due next month, will feature these candidates following their close finishes in the recent first round of voting.<\/p>\n<p>In a surprise result of last Sunday\u2019s voting, Massa took the lead with 37% of votes, while Milei, the anticipated favorite post his August primary victory, secured 30%. With the run-off election scheduled for November 19, both candidates are strategizing to gain favor from voters who previously supported Patricia Bullrich. Yet, analysts from Barclays pointed out that the general public might not be fully on board with the idea of dollarization.<\/p>\n<p>On the contrary, Massa opposes the idea of dollarizing the economy.
