RNDR traded more than 5% up to highs of $2.25 in the 24-hour period to the time of writing, with weekly and monthly gains at 13% and 52% respectively. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Recent upward momentum has benefited from <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/render-price-rebounds-as-rndr-taps-into-ai-hype\/\">AI hype driven by forecasts from mainstream companies<\/a>, including Microsoft, Nvidia and Palantir.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">RNDR price up as community votes for key proposal<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Render\u2019s upside appears to have defied likely sell-off pressure after <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lookonchain\/status\/1717757106252820939\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on-chain data<\/a> revealed FTX\/Alameda had moved over 974k RNDR tokens. While the transfer of the tokens, valued around $2 million at the time, was probably for selling purposes, the market\u2019s reaction kept bulls in control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This positivity for the altcoin also came after a community vote passed the RNP-005: Beam Compute Client <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/rendernetwork\/RNPs\/blob\/main\/RNP-005.md\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">proposal<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As the Render Network X account shared early Friday, the core proposal submitted on October 23 had passed. RNP-005 saw 1.4 million RNDR, or 99.79% of votes, support the onboarding of cloud platform Beam, which could become the second Compute Client leveraging Render Network\u2019s GPUs for machine learning (ML) workloads.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The community vote for RNP-005 is now closed. The proposal has been passed with 1.4M RNDR (99.79%) for approve and 2.9K RNDR (.21%) for Deny.<\/p>\n<p>The proposal now moves onto &#8220;Render Network Team Review.&#8221; If it passes technical feasibility the Foundation will post the final RNP-005\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/JyUeev4zNj\">pic.twitter.com\/JyUeev4zNj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Render Network (@rendernetwork) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rendernetwork\/status\/1717677116215431643?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 26, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Beam\u2019s cloud platform allows for the accelerated development and deployment of AI operations with GPUs. This will be possible without managing infrastructure, the proposal notes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As such, integrating with this platform will enable Render\u2019s decentralized GPU network to power the ML workloads.
