This venture is set to go live in early 2024, initially operating on an invitation-only basis.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p><strong>What you need to know<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Binance collaborates with Gulf Energy Development to launch Gulf Binance, a new cryptocurrency exchange in Thailand.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The joint venture received its digital asset operator license from Thailand\u2019s Ministry of Finance and approval from the country\u2019s Securities and Exchange Commission.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Gulf Energy, a major energy company in Thailand, expands into the digital asset market and has invested in Binance\u2019s U.S. operations through BAM Trading Services.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr\/>\n<p>Gulf Energy, led by Thai billionaire Sarath Ratanavadi, is diversifying its portfolio by venturing into the digital asset space with <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/cryptocurrencies\/binance\/\">Binance<\/a>. Gulf Energy is already a key player in various sectors, including natural gas distribution, renewable power generation, and digital infrastructure.
