However, the plan is to steadily expand this product to retail investors and add more crypto assets over the coming months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The exchange will also unveil features designed to allow for new trading strategies as they look to enhance capital efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Coinbase launched its international exchange in May this year, with the move coming amid the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/the-sec-strikes-again-first-binance-now-coinbase\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">regulatory crackdown<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> by the US Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC). Since then, the platform has reportedly seen over 100 institutions onboarded.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to today\u2019s update, Coinbase\u2019s international platform registered nearly $10 billion in trading volumes for perpetual futures in the third quarter alone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Growth included the l<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/coinbase-expands-futures-trading-services-globally\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">aunch of perpetual futures for eligible retail users<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on the company\u2019s Coinbase Advanced.
