WLD was changing hands around $3.81 with gains over the past 30 days at 55%.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to CoinGecko data, the WLD price at the time of writing was about 18% from the ATH of $4.69 reached on December 17.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">Worldcoin expansion continues with Singapore launch<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The latest upside for WLD comes after the recent World ID 2.0 launch and the open sourcing of the Worldcoin iris recognition pipeline. World ID 2.0 introduced Apps, allowing for<a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/worldcoin-unveils-world-id-2-0-with-telegram-and-shopify-integrations\/\">\u00a0integrations with the likes of Reddit, Shopify, and Telegram<\/a> for online accounts verification.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">On December 27, Worldcoin <a href=\"https:\/\/worldcoin.org\/blog\/announcements\/singapore-launch-user-growth-expansions-landmark-year-worldcoin\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> that its World ID verification was now open for the public in Singapore. The announcement highlighted the project\u2019s continued expansion across Asia, Europe and South America. Worldcoin revealed over <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/over-200000-chileans-have-signed-up-for-worldcoin-wld\/\">200,000 Chileans signed up for World ID<\/a> after the project\u2019s launch in the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Orb verifications were however recently halted in Brazil, to add to <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/kenya-suspends-worldcoin-activities-after-nearly-half-a-million-sign-ups\/\">hurdles faced in Kenya<\/a>, Germany and France. But while Worldcoin still faces regulatory scrutiny across various jurisdictions around the world, its growth metrics are positive.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Notably, the blockchain platform\u2019s wallet World App has crossed the 5 million user mark.
