This move allows customers to make payments using a wider range of coins and tokens, both online and in-person, through the BitPay app. The upgrade includes popular community-driven assets like Uniswap (UNI), Binance Coin (BNB), Chainlink (LINK), Cronos (CRO), VERSE (VERSE), Basic Attention Token (BAT), among others.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s CEO, Stephen Pair, emphasized BitPay\u2019s commitment to simplifying crypto payments. \u201cThese updates and all of the newly supported assets mark an invitation to crypto customers: pay for what you need and splurge on what you want,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The updated BitPay invoicing system offers a more intuitive payment process, with features like a simplified payment UI, WalletConnect 2.0 for connecting web3 wallets, automatic asset and balance detection, and dark mode for customer invoices. Additionally, invoices can be sent directly to the BitPay Wallet app for easy transaction completion.<\/p>\n<p>BitPay\u2019s expanded services provide diverse payment options. Customers can pay directly from their wallets at top merchants like Newegg, Jomashop, PacSun, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, and AMC Theatres. The platform processes payments from various wallets, enhancing flexibility.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, BitPay now offers a bill pay feature, enabling customers to use crypto for credit card bills, car payments, loans, mortgages, and other debts.
