A new TokenInsight report also highlights that the exchange\u2019s market share rose steadily after dipping to around 32% in November.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/mememoguls.com\/?utm_source=Coinjournal&amp;utm_medium=PR&amp;utm_campaign=1923\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Meme Moguls (MGLS)<\/a>, a new exchange bidding for dominance as the world\u2019s first meme-based trading platform, continues to strengthen its future outlook amid huge interest in its presale.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">Report shows Binance market share dropped 5% in 2023<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Binance\u2019s place as the world\u2019s largest crypto trading exchange by market share came under threat amid last year\u2019s regulatory issues.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The lawsuit by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the $4.3 billion settlement with the DOJ and CFTC among other government agencies and <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/changpeng-zhao-resigns-from-binance-us-board\/\">former CEO Changpeng Zhao\u2019s resignation<\/a> and court issues are key highlights of periods when Binance\u2019s market share fell considerably.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Binance is also among <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/india-issues-compliance-notices-to-nine-offshore-exchanges-including-binance\/\">nine exchanges<\/a> to see Apple and Google Play pull their crypto trading apps from their stores in India.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">But as a new <a href=\"https:\/\/tokeninsight.com\/en\/research\/reports\/crypto-exchanges-2023-annual-report\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><u>report<\/u><\/a> by crypto rating and research platform TokenInsight shows, the exchange only saw a slight decline in overall market share. Binance remains the top crypto exchange in this, with a market share of 48.7% as of the end of 2023.
