Data from CoinGecko shows the <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/\">cryptocurrency<\/a> reached this level just four months ago on October 17, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/aerodrome-finance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-188414\" src=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/aero-price-surge.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1644\" height=\"1200\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Today\u2019s 115% spike in AERO prices has the altcoin trading more than 175% up this past week. The 24-hour volume for Aerodrome Finance is $72 million, which represents a 2,000% jump in network activity.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Why is AERO price skyrocketing?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aerodrome Finance\u2019s price surge comes amid the latest news that the CB Ventures\u2019 Base Ecosystem Fund had acquired an AERO position.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The announcement did not disclose the value of the \u201cmarket-acquired\u201d position, but the reaction to this news saw AERO price go vertical.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThe Base Ecosystem Fund, led by CB Ventures, was launched to invest in the next generation of onchain projects building on Base.
