But earlier in the day, LTC price hovered just above $110, its highest level since last July.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>LTC price reached an all-time high of $410 in May 2021. While current prices remain way off that peak, Litecoin\u2019s latest bounce sees analysts predict what could be next.<\/p>\n<h2>Litecoin touches $110: Is LTC set for vertical gains?<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Before LTC soared more than 15% on Friday, bulls had found it hard to break the psychological $100 level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now with price hovering above the mark, a popular crypto analyst says <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/litecoin\/\">Litecoin price<\/a> could extend gains if bulls achieve a monthly close at $122.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201c$<em>LTC needs to Monthly Close above the orange resistance ($122) &amp; turn it into support like in 2020\/2021 (green circle) to build on its recent Macro Downtrend breakout. Monthly Closing above $122 has historically been a recipe for success for #Litecoin uptrends,<\/em>\u201d Rekt Capital <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rektcapital\/status\/1773851938255253646\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">shared<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> via X.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Before the breakout on Friday, Rekt Capital had <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rektcapital\/status\/1773745015791009978\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">noted<\/a> that LTC could consolidate above $94 amid a new macro uptrend.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/x\/UtV1skjI\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-196337\" src=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/litecoin-price-weekly-chart.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1074\" height=\"545\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Litecoin has pumped in recent weeks amid an overall bullish outlook for crypto. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The news that Coinbase was looking to add Litecoin futures trading and CFTC\u2019s reference for LTC as a commodity also added to the positive outlook.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">LTC is likely one of the altcoins to watch.
