Scheduled for April 19th, the halving will slash <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/cryptocurrencies\/section\/what-is-a-bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> production from 900 to 450 coins per day.<\/p>\n<p>Thiel anticipates a nuanced influence on Bitcoin\u2019s price, emphasizing the event\u2019s significance but downplaying its immediate impact. In a recent Bloomberg interview, he notes, <em>\u201cThe halving event will reduce the supply of Bitcoin by about 450 a day. The new emissions of Bitcoin, which will have some small impact on price moves probably.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>ETFs and Market Dynamics<\/h2>\n<p>Thiel also discusses the role of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in reshaping market dynamics. He suggests that their recent approval in the US may have disrupted Bitcoin\u2019s traditional post-halving bullish cycle. <em>\u201cI think the ETFs approval, which has been a huge success, has attracted capital into the market and potentially brought forward what could have been the price appreciation we typically would have seen three to six months post-halving,\u201d<\/em> he states.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the rapid growth of Bitcoin ETFs, Thiel underscores their substantial impact on capital inflows. He points out, <em>\u201cOf these ETFs, 11 were approved.
