Ramji, who is in line with Vanguard\u2019s investment philosophies, emphasizes the value of continuity in the company\u2019s services in an interview with Barron\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s an excerpt from the interview, <em>\u201cI think it\u2019s important for firms to have consistency in terms of what they stand for and the products and services they offer. I have heard [CIO] Greg Davis\u2019 explanation and I think it is entirely consistent with Vanguard\u2019s investment philosophy. It is a logical and consistent point of view.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Clarity Despite Speculations<\/h2>\n<p>Although there is a lot of expectation about <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/crypto\/vanguard-resist-spot-bitcoin-etf-trading-despite-sec-approval\/\">Vanguard\u2019s strategy for bitcoin ETFs<\/a>, Ramji\u2019s comments provide light on the situation. His support of Vanguard\u2019s position is consistent with the company\u2019s dedication to its investment tenets. To allow for more conversation, Ramji does not, however, address Vanguard\u2019s ruling on trading access to spot goods.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining BlackRock, Ramji oversaw the company\u2019s worldwide iShares division and was a key player in its venture into spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds.
