As most altcoins looked to bounce off key support levels, UNI price rose more than 20% to touch a multi-week peak of $10.95.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This comes as whales increasingly withdraw UNI from exchanges. According to on-chain details <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/lookonchain\/status\/1793889611179323845\">shared<\/a> by Lookonchain on X, one such whale withdrew $1.96 million in UNI from Binance as price rose.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Uniswap\u2019s upside momentum has also strengthened amid the unveiling of ERC-7683. This new token standard is a collaboration between Uniswap Labs and Across Protocol and aims at streamlining cross-chain trading via a \u201cunified framework for cross-chain intents systems.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">UNI surges after Uniswap response to SEC<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Breaching the critical $10 mark also came amid a rising bullish sentiment around Uniswap\u2019s regulatory outlook.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Earlier this week, Uniswap Labs\u2019 reiterated its readiness to fight the SEC\u2019s potential lawsuit following a recent Wells Notice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to Uniswap, the SEC is \u201cwrong\u201d in its assertions that the DEX platform is an unregistered securities exchange and broker-dealer. The allegation that UNI is a security is also wrong, with SEC\u2019s theories around it \u201cweak\u201d Uniswap <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.uniswap.org\/the-fight-for-defi-continues\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote in a response<\/a> to the regulator.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Uniswap price chart<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Uniswap\u2019s surge in the past 24 hours sees UNI breakout of a consolidation phase that had prices capped below the $8 level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Increased whale activity and the current projections for the ETH ecosystem favour UNI bulls.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/x\/wKwK35N7\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-205782\" src=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/uniswap-uni-price-chart.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1074\" height=\"545\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The technical picture also supports an upside continuation.
