Tequila (JULIO) is a new Solana meme coin that brings the popular Mexican distilled beverage to crypto. Its launch is set to coincide with a hot trend that is the drink-themed meme narrative.<\/p>\n

JULIO, which lands with a 100 million supply and 90% fair launch, takes the tradition that has made tequila a household name on-chain. The combination is an algave special and the Solana blockchain, blending the two into what is set to become Solana\u2019s top meme coin.<\/p>\n

According to launch details, Tequila will have 100% of the LP burned and will list on Raydium.<\/p>\n

Water Coin (WATER) is a Solana meme coin that targets market dominance by keeping its holders hydrated.<\/p>\n

But both Water and Beercoin tokens have struggled for upside movement<\/a>. However, over the past two days, the token has seen notable upside bounce. <\/p>\n

This is after Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho Ga\u00facho posted the Solana meme coin on his Instagram page. It came a day after Lionel Messi\u2019s Instagram account shared a promo of the WATER meme coin.<\/p>\n

In both cases, WATER price rallied and is currently 186% up since touching an all-time low of $0.0002833 on July 08, 2024. However, according to CoinGecko data, the meme coin is down 11% in the past 24 hours and 70% from its all-time high of $0.00278 reached on June 26, 2024.<\/p>\n

Tequila token will launch via a fair distribution today, and according to a countdown on the project\u2019s website<\/a>, this is just over two days away.<\/p>\n

While JULIO\u2019s price remains to be determined, Solana meme coins have had a rollercoaster year-to-date ride.<\/p>\n

Solana memes are currently a $6.6 billion market, which is up 5% in the past 24 hours. SOL also saw huge gains before a broader market dip. Meanwhile, the hottest meme coin narrative today is not dog-themed or cat-themed, but drink-themed.<\/p>\n

A rally for the broader market amid various catalysts like spot ETFs, US election and regulatory clarity could push meme coins higher. In the beverage related meme space, it\u2019s the tequila inspired meme coin JULIO that could be the next breakout token.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
