Craig Wright\u2019s claims of being Satoshi Nakamoto seem to be coming to an end. A British High Court judge has recommended a perjury investigation<\/a> into Wright and an asset freeze<\/a> previously, and his current whereabouts are unknown. It is believed that he left the United Kingdom after losing lawsuit<\/a> against the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA).<\/p>\n

The website craigwright.net now prominently displays a legal notice stating, \u201cDr Craig Steven Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto.\u201d<\/em> <\/strong>The notice explains that the High Court of England and Wales found Wright to be dishonest in his claims of being the creator of Bitcoin<\/a>. The website no longer hosts any additional pages or posts previously authored by Wright.<\/p>\n

\u201cDr Craig Steven Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto,\u201d the legal notice shown on the website reads.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Archived versions of the site show that Wright had made numerous assertions, including claims that \u201cBitcoinsv is the original Bitcoin\u201d and that he was the \u201ccreator of Bitcoin<\/a>.\u201d He even featured an altered copy of the Bitcoin white paper, listing himself as the author. All such content has been removed and is now only accessible through archived snapshots.<\/p>\n

In a related update, Cobra, the anonymous owner of bitcoin.org, announced to his 47,800 X followers that the Bitcoin white paper is once again accessible in the U.K. through bitcoin.org<\/a>. Cobra stated, \u201cThe default judgment obtained fraudulently by Craig Wright has been overturned. Thank you to everyone who helped.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
