These were to promote the inclusion of pro-<a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/search\/digital+asset\">digital asset<\/a> language within the Democratic Party, choose a Vice President candidate who understands the digital asset industry, such as Colorado Governor Jared Polis, and engage with industry leaders.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Digital Chamber, Democratic leaders including Speaker Emerita <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/us-to-pass-controversial-infrastructure-bill-house-speaker\/\">Nancy Pelosi<\/a> and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer support pro-crypto legislation. However, due to the Biden and Harris administration, the public view is that the Democratic Party holds a negative stance on digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>In June, it was reported that President Joe Biden had <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/joe-biden-has-vetoed-bill-aimed-at-overturning-sec-crypto-accounting-standards\/\">vetoed a bill aimed at overturning SEC crypto accounting standards<\/a>. Many in the crypto community argued it was a setback for innovation and financial inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe this previous hostility does not reflect the progressive and inclusive values of your Party,\u201d the group wrote, adding that over 50 million Americans have embraced digital assets.<\/p>\n<h2>Champion Innovation<\/h2>\n<p>Highlighting the \u201crevolutionary shift,\u201d digital assets can \u201cenhance transparency, reduce fraud, and create a more inclusive financial system,\u201d the Digital Chamber wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The advocacy group is urging the Harris administration to \u201cchampion these innovations to help reaffirm the US\u2019 position as the leader in the global digital economy.<\/p>\n<p>Following the news that Biden won\u2019t be seeking re-election this year, Harris was endorsed as his potential successor.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, Harris meme tokens have jumped in value.
